What’s Up with Guam Real Estate

So everyone wants to buy low and sell high for everything and anything especially Guam real estate.  The thing about property on Guam is, it does not fluctuate too much like the rest of the world.  Most Guam property including land, house, condo, and commercial property increase in value at a pretty steady rate.  One of the reasons with the steady price of Guam real estate could be due to the fact that Guam is very resilient to natural disasters and economic recession.
On Guam, most structures including homes and building are primarily built from concrete.  Being located in the middle of the Pacific, typhoons are a common visitor.  Being on an island the people have nowhere to evacuate, so they have adapted to endure the storm in their homes.  Concrete homes with Typhoon shutters are a norm on Guam.
On the positive side of being in the middle of the Pacific, Guam is a warm tropical island surrounded by beautiful sandy beaches visited by millions of tourists a year.  Guam has become a tropical haven for many Asian countries.  Located only a few hours from many Asian countries, it’s almost like having a beach in the backyard.  Being a tourist Mecca for most of Asia, Guam is not dependent on a 1 market, but many, giving Guam a steady flow of tourists from everywhere in Asia.
The US military presence in Guam also contributes to the steady price of real estate.  Guam being located in a strategic location for the US military forces, the US military seems to be a permanent fixture on the island.  The military contributes to Guam’s economy in many ways.  The local businesses provide supply and service to the military.  And many US service members choose to live off base, contributing to the Guam real estate economy.
With these steady economies on Guam, Guam’s real estate market has no reason to be unstable.  According to records Guam’s property value has steadily increased, with a few small bumps and bubbles along the way.  If you are looking for a good Guam real estate, take a look at these great websites:  http://www.guamrealtyfinder.comhttp://www.guamhousefinder.com
